Devarabisabahalli lake at night

Smartphone cameras have become so good that it's becoming harder to actually capture a dark scene. The exposure and postprocessing brightens the image so much, that I had reverse the processing to make it much darker to show what I actually saw.

Optimum sleep at 115 degrees

I seldom shoot candids of complete strangers, but this one was irresistible.
An hour later that gentleman in blue woke up and we had a wonderful conversation about a lot of things. Then I confessed and with lot of disclaimers and mini apologies showed him the pic. He loved it 😅

Chlorophyll and Anthocyanin

“Anyone can love a rose, but it takes a lot to love a leaf. It’s ordinary to love the beautiful, but it’s beautiful to love the ordinary.”
- MJ Korvan

But these leaves are easier to love !

If life was found on Mars..

I hope it's like this..

Fit to the 'T'

If somebody decided to create a monument for the phrase 'fit to the T', it must be this one. The idiom “fits to a T” means something fits down to the smallest detail. The “T” in the idiom refers to a “tittle,” which is a small mark in writing or printing, such as the dot over an “i”. It can also refer to any small part or iota.

They seemingly managed to construct a metro line over an existing foot overbridge for pedestrians in Outer Ring road, Bellandur, Bangalore, with no apparent gap in between.
(Go ahead.. zoom in and check it yourself)

Next time you are here, just stop your vehicle (if not already stopped due to a traffic jam) to admire this engineering marvel & tourist attraction. It's admirers just refer to it as...
 'The T'

Fresh off the Train

I'm a fan of train travel and my all-time favourite things to do is to stand near an open door holding tight on to the vertical metal handles enjoying the strong man-made breeze, while gawking at the endlessly beautiful stream of images that keep popping up every few seconds. Its an experience that fills up your senses like no other, with an alluring mix of beauty and danger.

But the limitations of photography make most attempts to capture them futile, due to camera shake or motion blurring -
Except when the train decides to stop in the middle of nowhere, and the hot sweltering afternoon gives way to a cooler cloudy evening and a quiet village home in the background, the scene interrupted by a well-dressed couple on a two-wheeler off to some family function.

Every train ride, I might frame and click hundreds of pics in my mind capturing the infinite beauty of ordinary people, places and  things.

This is just one of them that got captured in digital form.
