Monochromatic Dreams
I was talking to a friend recently about black-n-white photography, and started to give some examples on how they could be interesting. While searching for pics from my own collection, i took my older colour images and desaturated them to present them again. And voila ! I start to see a different world..

Amazing work. I think a picture speaks more if it's in black and white. One of the images is my wallpaper :)
Armo..I think your sketch would look better than the original :) i wud like to see it if you really create one.
Ajay..I cannot agree more..these are the days when i am starting to dream in BnW too. I hope the dunes of the desert would provide interesting opportunities... !
pics look beautiful when their hues are desaturated...and so are ppl when the inward beauty is looked at, desaturating all the outward hues! :-)

Wonderful presentation and careful selection...cool..not all pics are apt for color and not all for black and white...the pics u selected all look beautiful
I think the pics need a bit more contrast, esp the flowers (again :-)) The last pic is good. Doesn't look like it was taken in colour and converted
